Eligibility Criteria For IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2024

Before you rush to apply, ensure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification

For Science Subjects:

• Passed Intermediate/10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• OR, passed a Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in relevant streams with 50% marks in aggregate and in English.
• OR, passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate and English.

For Other Than Science Subjects:

• Passed Intermediate/10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and English.
• OR, passed Two years of Vocational Course in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and English.

Age Requirements

• Date of Birth Block: Candidates born between 2nd January 2004 and 2nd July 2007 are eligible.
• Upper Age Limit: If a candidate clears all selection stages, the upper age limit as of the enrolment date should be 21 years.

Marital Status

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
• Candidates must remain unmarried throughout the four-year engagement period. If you marry during this period, you’ll be discharged from service.

Medical Standards

To ensure you’re physically fit for the challenges ahead, the following medical standards must be met:

• Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Chest: Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
• Hearing: Normal hearing, able to hear a forced whisper from 6 meters by each ear separately.
• Dental: Healthy gums, a good set of teeth, with a minimum of 14 dental points.
