Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NCC Special Entry 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Nationality: Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Training
- Duration: 49 weeks at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
- Conditions: Candidates must not marry during the training period and must not live with parents/guardians.
Educational Qualification And Other Criteria
For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:
- Educational Qualification: A degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- Final-year students are allowed to apply if they have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of their degree course.
- Selected candidates must secure an overall aggregate of 50% marks in the degree course; otherwise, their candidature will be canceled.
- Service in NCC: Candidates should have served for a minimum of two/three years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
- Grading: Candidates must have obtained a minimum ‘B’ Grade in the NCC ‘C’ Certificate Exam. Those without the NCC ‘C’ Certificate at the time of application are not eligible.

- Must produce the provisional/degree certificate by April 1, 2025, failing which their candidature will be canceled.
Final Year Candidates:
