BSF Vacancy 2024: Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following:
- For Mi-17 and Fixed Wing (Mechanical Stream)
- Graduate with Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate in Avionics (E, I, R) or Mechanical (A, C) / (HA & JE).
- 3 years of Aircraft Maintenance experience, including 1 year as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, preferably on BSF Aircraft or Helicopter types.
- For ALH Dhruv (Mechanical Stream)
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Aeronautical stream.
- Graduate with Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate in Air Frame (A) or Engine (C) or (HA or JE).
- 3 years of Aircraft Maintenance experience, including 1 year as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, preferably on BSF Aircraft or Helicopters.
Note
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- For DGCA registered ALH Dhruv helicopter: AME category A&C license.
- For IAF (Military) registered MI-17 and Fixed Wing Embraer Aircraft: Engineering Degree in Mechanical for Mechanical stream; Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Aeronautical for Avionics stream.

- The maximum age limit is 35 years as of the closing date of the online application.

- The selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level-11 with a pay scale of Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700 as per the 7th CPC.

Female Candidates:
- Height: 157 cm
- Weight: According to height but not less than 46 kg

- Candidates married to a person with a living spouse, or who have a living spouse and marry someone else, are not eligible.
